We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Reporting and Digital Transformation to lead our cloud service business in building a data-driven organization.
This senior role will oversee a team responsible for data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives.
The role requires deep expertise in Sage Evo, Cloudblue, data lakes, and automation, with a strong focus on strategy, leadership, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
• Develop and drive the overall data and digital transformation strategy, aligning with business growth objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, BI specialists, and digital transformation professionals.
• Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards across reporting and analytics functions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in reporting and digital capabilities.
Advanced Reporting & Business Intelligence
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide reporting frameworks.
• Ensure real-time, accurate, and actionable business intelligence dashboards for executive decision-making.
• Drive automation and AI-driven analytics to improve forecasting, financial analysis, and operational efficiency.
• Establish and maintain a data lake to consolidate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Oversee the integration of Sage Evo and Cloudblue into the broader reporting ecosystem.
Enterprise Digital Transformation
• Lead end-to-end digital transformation initiatives, ensuring the seamless integration of new technologies.
• Oversee automation projects that streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance scalability.
• Spearhead process re-engineering efforts to digitize business operations and improve data accessibility.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, AI-driven analytics, and cloud-based solutions to future-proof the organization.
• Establish key performance metrics to track the success of digital transformation initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Reporting
• Act as the key liaison between IT, finance, operations, and leadership teams to align data strategies.
• Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Ensure data-driven transparency across departments, enabling proactive decision-making and risk management.
• Work closely with external vendors and partners to optimize the digital ecosystem and reporting infrastructure.
Data Lake & Advanced Analytics
• Architect and oversee the implementation of a scalable data lake, consolidating structured and unstructured data.
• Establish data warehousing best practices, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and transformation processes for real-time reporting and analytics.
• Manage data quality and integrity, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance standards.
Technology & Systems Optimization
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of BI, data management, and cloud-based tools.
• Ensure system interoperability between Sage Evo, Cloudblue, and other business applications.
• Work with IT to develop a scalable data infrastructure that supports future growth and analytics demands.
• Ensure that data platforms are secure, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Maintain vendor relationships and oversee third-party solutions to enhance reporting capabilities.
Data Monetization & Power BI Productization
• Develop a revenue-generating strategy for monetizing data insights by packaging high-value reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions for external clients.
• Design and launch tailor-made Power BI packages that provide industry-specific insights from the data lake.
• Oversee the listing and distribution of Power BI packages on Marketplaces and other relevant platforms.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to define target industries, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies for data-driven products.
• Establish a subscription-based or one-time purchase model for different levels of analytics access (e.g., executive dashboards, financial insights, operational efficiency reports).
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations while commercializing insights.
• Track customer engagement and revenue performance, refining offerings based on demand and feedback.
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to enhance data visualization features and improve user experience.
• Drive partnerships with third-party vendors to expand the reach of Power BI solutions and explore white-labeling opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and digital transformation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing and scaling data analytics and reporting teams.
• Strong expertise in Sage Evo, Cloudblue, and enterprise data management platforms.
• Hands-on experience with data lake architecture, cloud-based analytics, and AI-driven reporting tools.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting technologies.
• Strong understanding of API integrations, data warehousing, and data security best practices.
